What personal data do we collect from the public?
Our website is hosted by Squarespace. It collects personal information through cookies to help the website run effectively and to analyse its use. Cookies are also used to store information as part of our monitoring of website traffic through Google Analytics.
When you subscribe to our mailing list we collect your email address and give the option for you to give us your name, organisation and mobile phone number. Our mailing list is currently managed through a MailChimp account.
Where you email us our email software will record personal information in accordance with its standard operating function. We may also record more detailed personal information, eg name and address, where you book onto an event we are running or purchase something from us online.
What do we do with the data?
All website data is anonymised and we have no access to information about individual users.
With our mailing list, we do not share any personal information such as your name and email address with anyone else. We may share anonymised data with organisations such as our project partners and funding agencies who support our work. None of this data includes any specific information about any individual.
Event booking and sales information is used exclusively for that purpose and is not passed to anyone else.
How we store data and keep it secure
Any personal information we hold will generally be stored securely on password protected computers. Where information is held on paper, eg a booking form, it will be kept in a secure office environment.
We do not retain personal information longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is being processed.
Accessing the information we hold about you
You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. To do so please email or write to us at the address below. We will gladly amend any information that isn't accurate. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by following the link at the bottom of one our our emails.
